EXPLORE. DREAM. DISCOVER.

My adventures around the world

Australia

May 2014 - July 2014

Sydeny and Cairns, Australia

During my time in Australia, I learned a lot about myself. I was able to immerse myself in a completely new enviroment half way around the world. Everyone I met was always so willing to help with any questions I may have had. I was shocked at how expensive living there was, but it was so worth it.  My internship in the beautiful city of Sydney gave me a glimpse of the public relations realm, and I fell in love. Pictures do not give this place any justice. From the Great Barrier Reef, to Bondi Beach - Australia will always be in my heart.

China

May 2015

Shanghai, Harbin, Ningbo, and Beijing, China

China is incredibly unique and unlike any other place I have been before. I was initially concerned about the language barrier, but I suprisingly picked up some basic sentences. I was able to make friends at various universities, that I still keep in contact with today. I absolutely love the culture, and the conservation of ancient buildings within modern architechture (i.e. Jing'an in Shanghai). I have made some unforgettable memories here, and I am certain that I will be visiting again in the future.

Puerto Rico

March 2016

Vieques, Fajardo, and San Juan, Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico is an incredibly gorgeous island that's rich in food and culture. I definitely wish I could have spent more time here. It was one of the most peaceful places I have ever been. I was able to zipline and hike in El Yunque, the only rainforest in US territory. However, the greatest experience on this trip was being able to kayak in Vieques' Bioluminescent Bay, which contains micro-organisms that make the water glow-in-the-dark. I can check that off of my bucket-list!

MExico

May 2014 - July 2010

Guadalajara, Mexico

Mexico will always hold the most special place in my heart. This beautiful country is my homeland. It has been a few years since I last visited, but I was fortunate enough to visit frequently while growing up. Most of my family lives here, and there is nothing I love more than making memories with the people I love. Guadalajara is my second home. It has taught me my second language, my values and my amazing culture. I cannot wait until I can visit again.

Hawaii

March 2015

Oahu, Hawai'i

Paradise is an understatement. The views in Hawaii are certainly....wow. I am so lucky to have been able to visit such a beautiful place. The people are more than welcoming, they make you feel like family. I was able to learn a lot about the culture and traditions here. I could not have asked for a better trip to a little island not too far away from home.
